Outline Bar – EmEditor (Text Editor)

Find in Files makes the Outline Bar disappear

I have the Outline Bar displaying always for certain file extensions, for example, *.k. But whenever I do Find in Files, searching only *.k, then I click on a hit, the Outline Bar disappears.

The Outline Bar should be per configuration and/r per file

If I have several different kinds of file open — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and plain text, for example — I want the Outline Bar to automatically appear and behave differently for each language, and for the text file I don’t want it to appear at all. EE should remember per configuration whether to show up initially and how to behave, (how to find a function to list, whether to collapse comments, etc.), and remember per file whether the user has displayed it or not.

Outline bar: should have line numbers and be sortable by line number or name

Each entry in the Outline Bar should have the starting line number to its left, and the whole list should be sortable either alphabetically or by line number, i.e., physical order.

Automatically expended guides in the Outline Bar

Hi there,

When typing a text in the EmEditor window, guides in the Outline Bar are automatically expended.

Is this a bug? Is there an option to expend/collapse them manually only?

I’m using v14.4
